Andersson: ‘I felt at home right away’

Caroline Andersson is one of the two new riders at Liv Racing TeqFind. The Swedish rider talks about her first experiences with the team and also looks forward to the upcoming weeks.

At the first team training camp on Mallorca in December Andersson met her new team mates and staff of Liv Racing TeqFind for the first time. “I chose the team because it fits best for my own development. I really liked the first training camp. The team is really structured and professional, which suits me very well. All the girls and staff members were very nice to me and made me feel at home right away.”

During the winter months Andersson was at home most of the time. “I trained a lot at home in Sweden. Of course it was quite cold, but the weather was good enough to ride outside. I also did a few cyclocross races. At the moment I am in Girona for a training camp. The weather is nice over here and I can do some good training rides.”

In a week the second training camp with the team will start. Liv Racing Teqfind then heads to Spain, where the team will train in Cambrils for ten days. “After my training camp in Girona I travel to Cambrils for the second team camp. After that I will head to The Netherlands for the World Championships cyclocross. Then it is almost time for my first road race with the team. I will start my season in the Setmana Ciclista – Volta Comunitat Valenciana Femines. I really look forward to it.”
