A day after Veenendaal-Veenendaal Liv Racing TeqFind will ride another Dutch one day race. In the Omloop der Kempen Rachele Barbieri wants to repeat her performance of last year.
The Omloop der Kempen will start and finish in Veldhoven and will cover 128,9 kilometres. Last year the race ended in a bunch sprint which was won Rachele Barbieri. The Italian sprinter is looking for another victory this year. Just like in Veenendaal-Veenendaal Barbieri will be accompanied by Thalita de Jong, Jeanne Korevaar, Katia Ragusa, Silke Smulders and Sabrina Stultiens.
“I was in Livigno last week for a little recovery and training for the upcoming races. Veenendaal was my first race and unfortunately I missed the podium there. In the Kempen I want to repeat my win of last year. I feel good and we have a strong team at the start, so we will fight for a good result”, Barbieri said.
