After being sidelined for some races Alison Jackson will return in the peloton at the Brabantse Pijl tomorrow.
The spring classics are slowly leaving Flanders behind and move up to the Ardennes. The 7th edition of the Brabantse Pijl starts in Lennik and brings the peloton to Overijse. On the way to the finish the peloton has to cover 24 hills and the route brings back some memories of last year`s World championships in Leuven. In that race Alison Jackson made a very strong impression finishing sixth. The Canadian champion is making her return to the peloton in the Brabantse Pijl after she missed some races after a hard crash in Gent-Wevelgem.
“I am recovered from my injuries after that crash in Gent-Wevelgem. I am looking forward to this race as it brings back great memories from the Worlds last year, when I finished 6th. My form isn`t that good as it was at the Worlds, but I have a lot of ambition and passion. I am just happy to be in this race”, Jackson told.
Besides Jackson Liv Racing Xstra brings Eva Buurman, Marta Jaskulska, Amber van der Hulst, Ayesha McGowan and Katia Ragusa to the start.
