Classic Brugge – De Panne: echelons or sprint?

Liv Racing TeqFind is back in Belgium for the next classic one day race of this spring. It also marks the start of the final run-up to the Ronde van Vlaanderen.

The Classic Brugge – De Panne will start on the Markt in Brugge. After 67 kilometres the peloton will pass the finish line for the first time. Two local laps of almost 48 kilometres wait for the peloton in De Panne. Both laps will contain a passage through De Moeren, where the peloton easily can break into echelons when there is enough wind.

Rachele Barbieri, Eva Buurman, Valerie Demey, Marta Jaskulska, Jeanne Korevaar and Tereza Neumanova will defend the Liv Racing TeqFind colors in this one day race.

Barbieri is recovered from her illness that forced her to abandon Nokere Koerse last week. The Italian sprinter is looking forward to the next Belgium race. “I feel better now, but still am a little disappointed with how things are going till now. I really look forward to the next block of races. Brugge – De Panne has to suit me really well, especially when there will be no wind and it will come down to a sprint. My preparation hasn`t been perfect, but I will give 110% for a good result. Let`s hope we will have the luck on our side this time.”
