The cycling season 2023 is heading to its final weeks. Saturday`s Classic Lorient Agglomération is the last one day race of the Women`s World Tour 2023 calendar on European soil.
The route of the Classic Lorient Agglomération is the same as in 2022, when it underwent quite some changes. The race starts with a large loop of 128,3 kilometres, followed by 2,5 local laps in Plouay. During the local laps of 11,7 kilometres each the climb Le Lezot (900m, 5%) has to be tackled three times and la Bosse de Rostervel (1.5 km, 4.5%) twice.
Liv Racing TeqFind will start with last year`s winner Mavi Garcia, Tereza Neumanova, Katia Ragusa, Sabrina Stultiens and Quinty Ton.
The last couple of weeks Stultiens was active during some criteriums and played an active role in the GP Oetingen. She made a small sidestep to the gravelbike as well. “I rode a race of the Gravel Series in Houffalize. That was a lot of fun, but the course was very hard. I surprised myself with a second place, a good boost for my motivation. Now my focus is back on the road for the last races of the season. I am looking forward to the race in Plouay and hope to continue my good feeling over there. We will start with a strong team and Mavi as last year`s winner. It will be a hard race with a lot of climbing and narrow, technical roads. As team we want to ride another offensive race”, Stultiens told.
