Another stage, another bunch sprint in the Simac Ladies Tour. In Gennep Liv Racing Xstra placed two riders in the top-10.
Several riders tried their luck in the third stage of the Simac Ladies Tour, but the peloton reeled in every attempt. Despite a technical final kilometres in Gennep there came another bunch sprint. The preparation was a little chaotic, so it was hard to position well for the sprint. Rachele Barbieri was the first Liv Racing Xstra rider in the stage, finishing 7th. Alison Jackson was in her wheel in 8th place.
In the overall classification Jackson is still in the top-10. The Canadian Liv Racing Xstra rider is sitting in 6th place, 23 seconds behind leader Lorena Wiebes. Tomorrow the peloton heads into the hills in Limburg, followed by a time trial on Saturday. Two important days for the overall classification.
