After a few weeks without racing Liv Racing TeqFind is ready for a new race. The team will start in the GP Oetingen on Saturday.
Originally the GP Oetingen was scheduled in March, but the race was cancelled because of heavy snow. The organizers found a new spot on the race calender on the 19th of August. The third edition of this race has a distance of 119,3 kilometres with several hills and cobblestone sections.
Liv Racing TeqFind brings Eva Buurman, Thalita de Jong, Valerie Demey, Jeanne Korevaar, Sabrina Stultiens and Quinty Ton to the start.
De Jong is living in the region, so for her it is almost a home race. “Last week I did a recon of the course. It will be a hard race with the hills and cobblestone sections. I think it will be an open race, as there will be no teams that control the race. We have to be attentive in the front of the bunch and keep our eyes open for an important breakaway. After the Tour de France Femmes I raced in some criteriums and won the one in Zevenbergen after a solo. I feel ready for the GP Oetingen and hope we can achieve a good result with the team”, said De Jong.
