Nokereberg is waiting for Liv Racing TeqFind

After a lot of bad luck in the Miron Ronde van Drenthe Liv Racing TeqFind heads to Belgium for the next one-day race: Nokere Koerse.

The peloton will start in Deinze for a race over 129,1 kilometres. After 72,9 kilometres the riders will enter a local lap op 28,1 kilometres, with the Nokereberg at the end of every lap. The peloton will ride the local lap two times. Besides the Nokereberg there are plenty of other hills and 15 kilometres cobblestones on route to the finish.

Liv Racing TeqFind is looking for revanche after all the crashes and bad luck in the Miron Ronde van Drenthe. The team will start with Rachele Barbieri, Eva Buurman, Ayesha McGowan, Tereza Neumanova, Silke Smulders and Thalita de Jong.

Barbieri was involved in the massive crash during the Ronde van Drenthe. Luckily she wasn`t injured and could finish the race, although her chances for a good result were ruined. “The crash in Drenthe was a real pity, because I felt good and wanted to go for a good result there. Fortunately I wasn`t injured in the crash, but my race was over at that point. Now it is already time for our next race with Nokere Koerse. I hope the luck will be on our side this time and we won`t have a lot of crashes and bad luck. The crash of Drenthe didn`t have any impact on my shape, so I still feel good and want to go for a good result here. I will do a short recon on Tuesday, so I can check out the finish line and some cobblestone sections. I am really excited to race here. The more races I ride, the better I feel. I want to give the team a good result”, Barbieri said.
