After a week without races Liv Racing TeqFind is back in Spain for its next race of the season: the Vuelta a Burgos.
The Spanish race contains four stages. The peloton starts in Quintanaortuño for the first stage over 115,6 kilometres to Medina de Pomar. The Alto La Varga is halfway the stage the only classified climb of the day. The second stage has two climbs of third category in it, the last one at 50 kilometres from the finish. So the sprinters could have a change in both stages. Also the third stage is suited for the sprinters. The fourth and final stage brings the riders to the Lagunas de Neila, a climb of 11,7 kilometres with finish on 1867 metres altitude.
Liv Racing TeqFind brings Caroline Andersson, Eva Buurman, Valerie Demey, Marta Jaskulska, Ayesha McGowan and Tereza Neumanova to the start in Burgos. For Andersson it is her third race of the season on Spanish soil. After the Setmana Ciclista-Volta Comunitat Valenciana Fèmines at the start of the season the Swedish rider was active during La Vuelta Femenina two weeks ago. “We did well as a team in the Vuelta. We really worked together very well and can be proud of how we raced there. In Burgos we start without Mavi, but we have strong team at the start. We are all motivated to show ourselves again and I think we can do another good race with some nice results. We all looking forward to race in Spain again.”
